Social Media Coordinator

EA Society is seeking a talented and creative Social Media Coordinator to join our team on a subcontractor basis. This role will support a specific client—a dynamic art studio owner—by managing their social media presence and coordinating with the executive assistant to streamline client bookings. Hours will vary based on the client’s needs each month, making this an ideal opportunity for a flexible and self-motivated individual.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute engaging social media strategies to enhance brand awareness and attract clientele for the art studio.

  • Create and schedule high-quality, visually appealing content tailored to the studio’s target audience across platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook).

  • Collaborate closely with the executive assistant to ensure alignment between social media campaigns and client bookings.

  • Respond promptly to messages, comments, and inquiries on social media to engage with followers and potential clients.

  • Monitor and analyze social media metrics to assess campaign performance and recommend improvements.

  • Use Asana for project management and task tracking to maintain clear communication and workflow transparency.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in social media management, preferably in the creative or arts industry.

  • Proficiency in Asana for project management is mandatory.

  • Strong visual and creative skills, with experience in graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Suite) being a plus.

  • Excellent written communication skills with the ability to craft compelling captions and content.

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.

  • Collaborative mindset and ability to work closely with the executive assistant and the client.

  • Knowledge of social media analytics tools and experience generating reports.

Hours and Compensation:

  • Hours will vary month-to-month based on the client’s needs.

  • Compensation will be discussed based on experience and scope of work.
